One slogan of the Protestant Reformation was the Latin phrase Post Tenebras Lux – “After Darkness, Light!” Bible-believing Christians rejoice at the recovery of the Gospel which took place following the posting of Martin Luther's 95 Theses on October 31, 1517.  With the 500-year anniversary of this church-history milestone quickly approaching, the congregations of Zeltenreich Reformed Church (URCNA) and Downingtown Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC) will be having a joint worship service. We would like to give a warm welcome to other congregations in the region to come and join us for this special service and a reception to follow. During the service, the message will focus on the continuing relevance of the Reformation for Christians and evangelical churches today.  Rev Dr. Dave Holmlund will give the message and Rev. Dr. Robert Godfrey will conduct the service

Rev. Dr. Dave Holmlund is the Regional Home Missionary for the Presbytery of Philadelphia (OPC) and the church planting pastor for Downingtown OPC in Chester County.  Dave & Elizabeth have four children and live in Fort Washington (PA).

Rev. Dr. Robert Godfrey has been the pastor of Zeltenreich Reformed Church (URCNA) since the spring of 2016.  Robert & Catherine have three daughters and live in New Holland (PA).

This joint Reformation service will be held at Zeltenreich Reformed Church (752 Hollander Road, New Holland, PA 17557) on Sunday evening, October 29, 2017, at 6:00 pm with a reception to follow.  All are invited and welcome to attend.
